Egwene Al'Vere 2.0

(It's always warmer on the heart, but I'll still hug you if you don't )
This is an updated painting that I did back in 2008. Back then I was just beginning to really get into digital painting, and let's just say it was horrible. I was bored and without inspiration, so I decided to pimp it up. It's still kind of rough around the edges, but compared to the first one it's uh, MUCH better.

Egwene Al'Vere, from Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time. If you don't know that, get your flaming butt to a bookstore and purchase them all ! It's an order.

First painting was based on a photo ref. of yours truly, because I thought my features made a great base to build Egwene's (meaning I tweaked a few things to match my vision instead of staying true to the picture. Still kind of looks like me, though, which is weird.) The 2010 touch-ups were done without refs.

Might post the side-to-side comparison someday, not sure.
